실천적 대안으로서의 '민주적인 교육'

한국의 대안교육은 지난 10년간 양적으로나 질적으로나 놀라운 성장을 해 왔다. 그러나 한편으로는 공교육에 짓눌린 아이들에게 대안적 공간을 마련해 주는데 우선순위를 두느라 풍성한 교육적 내용물을 채우는 데 상대적으로 아쉬움이 남았던 것도 사실이다. 최근에 대안교육진영에서 감지되는 위기의식이나 이차 성장을 위한 길찾기 논의들도 그 연장선상에서 이해될 수 있을 것이다.

이런 상황 속에서 IDEC의 한국 개최는 우리 대안교육이 세계와 접촉함으로써 한 단계 더 성장할 수 있는 기회가 될 것이다. 우리의 10년 경험이 세계의 100년 경험과 만나 새로운 미래를 꿈꿔볼 수 있는 좋은 계기가 될 수 있다. 우리의 지난 10년에서 얻어진 경험들과 고민들을 동시에 내어놓고 세계의 경험과 지혜로 함께 나누며, 그들의 고민 역시 우리 맥락 속에서 함께 논의하는 자리가 가능할 것이다. 이러한 좋은 경험들이 언어적으로나 기타 여러 가지 조건 때문에 상당수의 대안교육 현장들에게는 쉽지 않았던 것 역시 사실이다. 따라서 지금까지 소수의 개별학교들만이 혜택을 보았던 해외 교류를 전체적으로 확대할 수 있는 계기가 될 수 있을 것이다. 더구나 국제적인 교류의 필요성에 대해서는 절감하고 있으면서도 그간 언어적, 경제적 제약으로 인해 선뜻 참여가 어려웠었던 학교와 개인들에게는 특히나 좋은 기회가 될 것이다.

한편으로 IDEC의 한국 개최는 우리 대안교육을 세계에 알릴 수 있는 계기이기도 하다. 짧은 대안교육의 역사와 단선적인 교육제도로 인해 우리 사회가 대안교육에 보내는 기대와 요청은 세계 그 어느 곳보다 뜨겁다. 반면 세계의 대안교육, 특히 서구의 경우에는 상대적으로 대안교육이 제도권 안에서 융화됨으로써 상대적으로 그 사회적 필요성이 우리의 경우만큼 절박하지 않다. 따라서 세계의 교육가들은 열렬히 타오르고 있는 한국의 대안교육에 관해 매우 깊은 관심을 보내고 있다. IDEC의 한국개최는 우리가 지난 10년간 쌓아올린 축적물들을 당당히 세계에 내어놓고 함께 나누는 자리가 될 수 있을 것이다.

한반도는 그 지정학적, 역사적, 사회적 맥락으로 볼 때 세계 어느 나라보다 민주와 공존, 평화가 절실히 요구되는 곳이다. 따라서 세계의 민주 평화 교육가들에게 한국의 상황을 알리고 세계가 함께 한반도의 평화정착, 남북한 상호 공존을 위한 통일준비, 이주민 백만명 시대의 다문화 사회 등에 대해 인지하고 함께 고민할 수 있는 기회가 될 수 있다. IDEC의 한국 개최는 평등과 인권에 대해 대안학교가 실험정신을 갖고 나서, 건강한 국가 구성원으로서의 민주시민을 길러내기 위한 교육적 토대를 마련해 줄 것이다.

무엇보다도 가장 중요한 의미는 신자유주의적 교육정책이 전세계를 휩쓸고 있는 현재, 경쟁위주의 엘리트주의 자격증 교육에 대해 대안교육 진영이 실천적인 대안으로서 '민주적인 교육'을 한국사회에서 국제적인 언어로 발언할 수 있는 기회라는 것이다. IDEC의 한국 개최는 약육강식의 논리로만 점철되고 있는 우리 교육과 사회에 대해서 전 세계에서 모인 사람들이 평화와 공존을 위한 민주적인 교육을 대안으로 제시할 수 있는 기회가 될 수 있을 것이다.

How to Make PSP Themes by Yourself Using PSP Theme Creator
Making PSP Themes is very simple, but I noticed many people can’t do that, so I’ll give little tutorial so you can make it by yourself.

There are 2 kinds you can make with PSP Theme Creator

1. PSP Wallpapers

2. PSP Themes

Although the result is with same extension called .ptf,maxi dress but its different things

1. PSP Wallpapers have background but the icon is standard from PSP theme creator

2. PSP Themes have background and all of icon created by yourself

To make the backgrounds and Icons I recommend use Adobe Photoshop and to convert into .ptf format we need PSP Theme Creator, you can have it free, just searching through Google search to find it

Here is the 3 simple step to make PSP Wallpapers:

1. The first thing you need is the background or wallpaper for your PSP,iPhone 4 Dock with photoshop open image which you like, resize image to 480×272 pixels, and then save as in BMP/bitmap format, resize again image to 300×170 pixels, save as BMP format, now you have 2 image with different size, 480×272 pixels for background and 300×170 pixels for preview image

2. Finished with background, we still need 1 icon for preview icon, you can make preview icon from your image, just crop the image with crop tool in photoshop as you like, resize it to 16×16 pixels, and then click tab File > Save for web > change output format in PNG-8 > Save

3. Now after we make wallpaper for background and icon for preview icon, we ready to convert them into PSP Wallpaper, just open PSP theme Creator, click tab information and write some Title, product ID, and Version for your Theme,iPhone 4 sim card adapter then click tab Wallpaper > open 480×272 pixels bitmap image which has been made before, click tab Other > open the PNG icon for preview icon and 300×170 pixels image for preview image, the last step click tab File > Export > Save, Finally all the image and icon have been convert into .ptf extenxion, it means Theme has been made and the files ready to put on your PSP. Congratulations!
